About Steve
Steve McCullough was born and raised in New Hampshire where he graduated from Bishop Bradley High School, and later, thanks to the GI Bill, received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Saint Anselm College. In 1966, Steve enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and, after attending language school and interrogation school, served 13 months in the Republic of Vietnam and was assigned to the 11th Interrogation & Translation Team, MACV, I Corps. Steve was stationed in Khe Sahn and DaNang, Vietnam and conducted many interrogations while deployed in field operations and assigned to the DaNang Combined Interrogation Center. His Marine Corps honors include the Bronze Star with "V", the Vietnam Armed Forces Honor Medal, and the Navy Unit Citation.
Steve was employed for more than 20 years in the telecommunications industry as a sales and marketing executive with several major corporations. He was also employed in the aviation industry and traveled extensively throughout the world as an Operations Manager for a private aviation company. Additionally, he was employed as a Business Agent for the Teamsters Union and worked in the Anheuser Busch brewery in Merrimack, NH for several years. He is currently retired and lives in Castle Rock, Colorado with his wife, Chris, and their rescued greyhounds, Gracie and Dixie.
Steve is very interested in history and current events, reads extensively, and writes for his personal web site www.stevemc2.com. His articles are occasionally published in local newspapers and on other web sites such as the Conservative Outpost and Townhall.com. He is a member of the American Legion, the VFW, the NRA, and the Ben Lomond Gun Club.
